About Krung Thiu-tat

Krung Thiu-tat is a mid-term condo rental network that focuses not only on renting out a condo but also about building a community. We aim to allow the community to live like a local on a global standard. This means that you should feel right at home, not only in the unit but also outside of it during your entire stay.

Krung Thiu-tat has its roots in Bangkok, the magical capital of Thailand. The name Krung Thiu-tat, which is a mouthful, is based on Bangkok, or Krung Thep. The word krung specifically means capital. In Thai, it’s also used for other capitals such as Krung Rome, or Krung Tokyo. While we do not limit our network to capitals, we tend to focus on larger cities.
But there is a balance. And that balance comes from the second part of our name: Thiu-tat. It translates to landscape, and that’s where we have another focus area. We want to provide amazing views that capture the essence of the location. Be it in the city where you’ll stay in a high-rise that shows the skyline and a cityscape, or a more natural location such as in Almuñécar, Spain where the place will show the ocean and nature.

Wherever our network welcomes you, we will stick true to the main focus of making you feel at home. To achieve this, we encourage all members to provide active feedback, not only about the unit, but also about the complex and the neighbourhood. This will allow the community to set a course for improvement and guide us toward a better experience for everyone.

Still, most of what we provide is based on our own experiences, especially in Bangkok where the founders have lived for many years. This allows us to guide members on places to go, activities to do and ways of life. To strengthen the feeling at home at the condos in our network. We’re at home there, and so can you.
This means that the voice and touch of Krung Thiu-tat is that of a local. That guides you before, during and after your stay.

Our services are provided by a lean team of 2, who are supported by others to make your stay an amazing experience. This extended team includes both humans and AIVAs who you’ll be interacting with and will support you the best they can.
This setup allows us to keep a lean team and build a scalable, yet personal, remote experience that is strengthened by the community.
